Practice Policies
Swimmers:
✔Swimmers should show up on time to practice, ready to go (equipment and attitude). We understand that conflicts may arise but do your best to inform Coach Laura of these ahead of time if possible.
✔Swimmers should be respectful and listen to instructions from the coach, as well as meet officials and pool staff.
✔Swimmers must have goggles that will stay on their face (a back-up pair is recommended)
✔Swim caps are highly recommended but not required for practice.
✔Swimmers must wear a suit that allows them to practice appropriately.
✔Swimmers should bring a towel to every practice.
—Parents:
✔During practice, parents should stay off of the main deck area, and away from the pool. During practice I am there for the swimmers, and keeping them focused is a priority, so if you can avoid it, don’t approach me with questions until after practice.
✔Respect me and let me coach the swimmers during their slotted time. I am always open to questions or suggestions, but during practice is not an appropriate time to address these.
